The study of slip line field and upper bound method based on the non-associated flow rule

Zheng Yingren,Deng Chujian,Wang Jinglin

Strategic Study of CAE 2010, Volume 12, Issue 8,   Pages 56-69

Abstract: flow rule for the traditional plastic theory don't accord with the experiment for geotechnical material,so the non-associated flow rule must be applied to geotechnical material which indicates the stressflow rule were analyzed. The slip line field theory and the upper bound method based on the non-associated flow rule were deducedflow rule for the traditional plastic theory.

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2009, Volume 3, Issue 1,   Pages 81-84 doi: 10.1007/s11709-009-0016-3

Abstract: surface model based on the classical theory of plasticity is unsuitable for geomaterials whether the ruleof associated flow is applied or not; the yield surface of geomaterials is not unique, and its numberis the same as the freedoms of plastic strain increment; the yield surface is not convex; and the ruleof associated flow is unsuitable for geomaterials.

Entity and relation extraction with rule-guided dictionary as domain knowledge

Frontiers of Engineering Management   Pages 610-622 doi: 10.1007/s42524-022-0226-0

Abstract: Entity and relation extraction is an indispensable part of domain knowledge graph construction, which can serve relevant knowledge needs in a specific domain, such as providing support for product research, sales, risk control, and domain hotspot analysis. The existing entity and relation extraction methods that depend on pretrained models have shown promising performance on open datasets. However, the performance of these methods degrades when they face domain-specific datasets. Entity extraction models treat characters as basic semantic units while ignoring known character dependency in specific domains. Relation extraction is based on the hypothesis that the relations hidden in sentences are unified, thereby neglecting that relations may be diverse in different entity tuples. To address the problems above, this paper first introduced prior knowledge composed of domain dictionaries to enhance characters’ dependence. Second, domain rules were built to eliminate noise in entity relations and promote potential entity relation extraction. Finally, experiments were designed to verify the effectiveness of our proposed methods. Experimental results on two domains, including laser industry and unmanned ship, showed the superiority of our methods. The F1 value on laser industry entity, unmanned ship entity, laser industry relation, and unmanned ship relation datasets is improved by +1%, +6%, +2%, and +1%, respectively. In addition, the extraction accuracy of entity relation triplet reaches 83% and 76% on laser industry entity pair and unmanned ship entity pair datasets, respectively.

Study on the NOx release rule along the boiler during pulverized coal combustion

JIN Jing, ZHANG Zhongxiao, LI Ruiyang

Frontiers in Energy 2007, Volume 1, Issue 1,   Pages 91-95 doi: 10.1007/s11708-007-0009-7

Abstract: Numerical simulation and experimental study on NO release along the boiler during pulverized coal combustion have been conducted. With the increase of temperature the NO emission increased and the peak value of NO release moved forward. But when the temperature increased to a certain degree, NO emission began to reduce. NO emission increased with the increase of nitrogen content of coal. The peak value of NO release moved backwards with the increase of coal rank. NO emission increased obviously with the increase of stoichiometric ratio. There existed a critical average diameter of the pulverized coal (). If "d, NO emission reduced with the decrease of pulverized coal size. If >, NO emission reduced with the increase of the pulverized coal size. The results showed that the simulation results are in agreement with the experimental results for concentration distribution of NO along the axis of the furnace.

Fanconi anemia gene-associated germline predisposition in aplastic anemia and hematologic malignancies

Frontiers of Medicine 2022, Volume 16, Issue 3,   Pages 459-466 doi: 10.1007/s11684-021-0841-x

Abstract: Whether Fanconi anemia (FA) heterozygotes are predisposed to bone marrow failure and hematologic neoplasm is a crucial but unsettled issue in cancer prevention and family consulting. We retrospectively analyzed rare possibly significant variations (PSVs) in the five most obligated FA genes, BRCA2, FANCA, FANCC, FANCD2, and FANCG, in 788 patients with aplastic anemia (AA) and hematologic malignancy. Sixty-eight variants were identified in 66 patients (8.38%). FANCA was the most frequently mutated gene (n = 29), followed by BRCA2 (n = 20). Compared with that of the ExAC East Asian dataset, the overall frequency of rare PSVs was higher in our cohort (P = 0.016). BRCA2 PSVs showed higher frequency in acute lymphocytic leukemia (P = 0.038), and FANCA PSVs were significantly enriched in AA and AML subgroups (P = 0.020; P = 0.008). FA-PSV-positive MDS/AML patients had a higher tumor mutation burden, higher rate of cytogenetic abnormalities, less epigenetic regulation, and fewer spliceosome gene mutations than those of FA-PSV-negative MDS/AML patients (P = 0.024, P = 0.029, P = 0.024, and P = 0.013). The overall PSV enrichment in our cohort suggests that heterozygous mutations of FA genes contribute to hematopoietic failure and leukemogenesis.
